M5
October 2025
The boys and girls in M5 had a very fun filled October, filled with lots of sensory activities based around Autumn, Harvest and Halloween. They enjoyed exploring lots of Harvest fruit and vegetables - using them to play with, paint with and we even made vegetable soup, which went down a treat! We got our hands messy during play-based leaning, sensory cookery, art activities and sensory play. We had lots of fun during our Attention Autism sessions and loved dressing up. Everyone has enjoyed our music therapy sessions with Stewart and we also got the opportunity to listen and experience a sensory story in Banbridge Library.
September - 2025
We are off to a flying start in M5. The pupils have loved being back to school and into routine. Everyone has enjoyed lots of sensory exploration through our topics of reconnecting and Autumn. We have completed lots of art activities, sensory cookery sessions, play based learning and Attention Autism. As the weather has been mild, we have taken advantage and been outdoors in the sensory garden, play park and on nature walks around the school grounds. At the end of the month we had to opportunity to mix with our whole school community and enjoyed 'International Language Day'.
