M7
April
Pupils in M7 have been busy exploring the theme of Spring through a range of engaging ABL activities across numeracy, literacy, and fine motor skills. They have enjoyed seasonal art activities to support creativity and fine motor skills and have taken part in Attention Autism sessions, focusing on turn taking and shared attention. Pupils have enjoyed music sessions and outdoor learning opportunities, making the most of the sunny weather!
March
M7 have had a wonderful time exploring a variety of sensory activities linked to the weather. We created our own sunshine, made ‘thunder in a jar’ and even produced a beautiful rainbow using Skittles sweets. The pupils were fully engaged during the sensory experiences of making rain and wind. We also celebrated Green Day, taking part in themed activities and having lots of fun discovering a pot of gold!
February
Class M7 have been enjoying a wonderful range of active learning experiences this month. They have explored some winter animals, created beautiful Valentine’s arts and crafts, and celebrated Chinese New Year. We have also begun to learn about weather, starting with the sun and enjoyed some attention autism activities to include rain. Lots of engagement and fun.

It’s the most wonderful time if the year! And this is true for class M7 as we have been enjoying lots of activities to get into the festive mood, we have completed lots of arts and crafts and made some Christmas treats, we have completed sensory activities in numeracy and literacy and made the festive season come to life! We will see you all in the new year, Merry Christmas
November
M7 have had a fantastic month of learning! We explored Road Safety Week through a range of practical and creative art activities, helping us understand how to stay safe on the roads. Our outdoor learning lessons added an exciting hands on experience which was so enjoyable and engaging. In topic, we reflected on how we have grown and changed from babies to adults, sparking enthusiasm when looking at our baby pictures!
October
We have had a wonderful October filled with creativity, learning and fun. Our pupils have been exploring the beauty of autumn through engaging projects and participating in Attention Autism activities. We also celebrated Halloween with lots of spooky crafts and themed activities that the pupils really enjoyed. Fun and enriching for everyone!
September
This autumn, children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring seasonal changes in our sensory garden, where they engaged with nature through touch, smell, and sight. We also took part in fun educational apple selling activity within school, helping pupils to learn about money. Creativity was in full bloom as the pupils used apples to create beautiful art pieces!
