J5 Updates

January
Happy New Year! J5 have had a wonderfully busy start to 2026, filled with learning, excitement, and lots of sensory exploration.
This month, we have been discovering the seasonal changes of Winter through a wide range of practical, hands-on activities. Our pupils loved exploring cold ice, feeling chilly snow, and wrapping up warm in our woolly scarves and hats as we engaged with our winter sensory story. These experiences helped bring the season to life in a fun and meaningful way.
Alongside our winter explorations, we have been working hard on our PLP targets.
It has been a fantastic start to the year, and we are so proud of all the amazing work happening in J5!
November
What a busy month we’ve had in J5!
We have continued our topic “All About Me” and focused on our senses. The children have explored a wide range of sensory activities using sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing.
We also enjoyed participating in PJ Pudsey Friday and Nursery Rhyme Week.
Keep an eye out for December, when we’ll be exploring all the Christmas magic!

J5 had a lot of fun this month. We explored our seasonal topic of Autumn and Halloween. To end the month we participated in a Super Hero themed day as part of our High 5 well-being Friday.

What a busy month J5 have had settling back into school life!
We’ve been getting to know each other and finding our rhythm with our class routines. This month, we’ve been exploring our topic, “All About Me,” which has helped us learn more about ourselves and each other. We’re looking forward to a fun-filled and exciting year ahead!
